Being raised amongst a family of foodies is where my passion for cooking was born. My Grandmother & Mother’s kitchen in particular, was where I first saw food come to life.
Cooking is in my blood and has played a huge part in my lifestyle. Through my experience of working on yachts, it has flourished into existence and grown into a fulfilling career.
Food has always been the core ingredient of my family gatherings, the love and conversations that it generates transpire into priceless memories. An exceptionally cooked meal has a great power, it can congregate people, provide nutrition, heal & soothe your body and soul. The whole experience can hold a special place in your heart and creates a memory that lives on long after the meal has passed. I think it’s so important to show and express this in everything I cook, if I'm not eating it, then in hope of igniting the flame in another.
I have been fortunate enough through my work to travel the world over the past 10 years. This has opened my eyes to so many different styles of cooking, cultures and the way food is enjoyed. Through my journey it has allowed me to continue to grow and learn, striving to make each meal better than the one before. Health, nutrition & creating well-balanced meals are such an importance to me, I truly believe that a happily fed crew is a happy & productive yacht and this can translate to anyone in life.
